Kenwood football player Daquan Wheeler has been officially nominated as his school's 2017 Male Unsung Hero honoree, making him the first official nominee for this year's event.
For the first time ever, the 2017 Unsung Hero event will feature male and female athletes from a variety sports, no longer limited to just football and girls basketball players. As each school submits its honoree, they will be listed an announced on this web site. Check back often as we update the names.
